I am searching for information regarding my great-grandfather
Jacob BURKHARDT. He was born at Bern, Switzerland
in 1853. He came to Australia and married
Caroline BEIER ( BYERS ?) in 1880. His children
are Johann Heinrich Wilhelm, Mary, Anna
Elizabeth, Ernest and Lena Caroline. I don't have
his parents names. We are still living on the
farm he bought at Gympie, Australia in 1912.
